In his groundbreaking theory of relativity, Einstein proposed that these two dimensions are inherently related and constitute a continuum of space-time. Centuries before him, the Incas had a similar idea.
They believed time and space referred to the same concept (Pacha), embodied in the figure of Pachamama, our Cosmic Mother, the provider of life and fertility. These insights inspire the third compilation album of Tropical Twista: Between Time and Space. The album features 23 artists from all over Latin America exploring these ideas through a journey between time and space.
Each artist provides a unique outlook into the continent’s diverse cultures, ancestry, identity, history, and cosmology. As a whole, the album offers an exquisite journey into the mysteries of time and space and reflects a Latin America that is united through a new musical scene that is strong, independent, transcending geographical barriers, and creating new connections.
