Partly a product of its era (that is to say, the wastelands of late 90's Drum n' Bass, Techstep, etc. which were characterized by a retreat from the more upfront or soulful tunes of '94-'96), this 1998 release suffers from relatively lackluster programming and uses many typical tricks of the period. This wouldn't be so bad, but unfortunately the sonic quality of the production is also relatively flat. Darkness' "One Technique" stands out as the strong track of the record, but sadly still falls flat for its use of a painfully over-rinsed kung-fu movie sample.
