Of all of the Hellraiser series (4 edition), this is the best one. Great quality hardcore music. Still today, even though the hardcore music develops very quickly the music still holds up.

Several series of Hellraiser cd's have appeared.

The first series came out in 93 & 94, see

discogs.Com/release/56077
discogs.Com/release/27197,

which are both mixed CD's. The first one is considered on of the best mixes of early hardcore tracks ever published.

The hellraiser cd series contain only seperate tracks which were popular at the parties those days. This cd series was actually published after a Hellraiser party was held. Or more precisely, Digital Overdos, in which one hall was the Hellraiser area. The inside of the cd box cover also shows pictures of those parties.

Besides a hardcore compilations also a goa trance/ trance cd came out. These are the Immortality compilations, which are related to the same parties. See for example

This is a cd that is still very good. In the dutch gabbertime a lot of bad music has came out, but even in 2007, this cd and its followers (hellraiser volume II and III), are still up to date. Also thanks to the legendary cenobite label offcourse! I think that this is quality hardcore, because more then 75% of the tracks are hard but not anoying. It can still match up to the high standard that hardcore has nowadays.
