As with the 'West madison Street Throwdown' release, this mixed bag holds some EXCLUSIVE acid cuts which can only be found here. Lidell Townsell once again behind some of the best, with of course Tyree Cooper, Kool Rock Steady, Debrice King & Reggio turning out some great & timeless cuts. Its the underproduction & quiet pressing that kind of set these apart & makes them more quaint, more authentic & more desirable. You'll need a NM copy if you want a decent recording from it, due to the low mastering volume which shows up the slightest wear & tear, which will overpower the music if present. So save up & go for something in top cons, or you'll most likely find it hard to enjoy this slice of Chi-Town action...

Tyree Cooper's I'm Free is a lost beautiful jewel. Jackin' vibe , nice groovy & funky TB 303 bass line & some words spoken by himself as he was a silly guy : "I'm Free , Ahah !!
The big problem is this record is so bad pressing. id love to have this killer track on a cd or 12" release.
