The first Tropical Twista compilation that totally focuses on the feminine fertility in music. Here we have artists that come from different branches that ensnare the electronic latin-american scene in the most variable sonic textures and beats per minute. There are twenty-two women involved in this project - and only women - , some already established and some new potencialities among them, gathered by Ágatha Barbosa (Cigarra) in a big net on the Hystereofônica project.

78 years ago, Johanna M. Beyer composed “Music of the Spheres”, maybe the first electronic song composed by a woman. Since then history was made, while we daily experiment this hysteria not as a female’s disease but as a human indomability. This compilation has by impulse to puncture the thick land of the privileged musical digitalisms and dig spaces to be. This is the sowing. Beyond a gender category: music.

Watchful ears will notice that the 19 tracks sound alike, even when the bass takes you to the floor or the voices to the spectral clouds, the unity of these narrations lies in those things that we all live and overflow from. Yells, howls, whispers... It depends on the daily flow that echoes the immensity of each womb. What is apparent here has as a pretension giving clues about this secret (Source: TTR).
