Not really worth buying, especially if you already have the original Jungle Sound CD, considering the fact that they are basically the exact same release!

Both mixes are EXACTLY the same (according to Pendulum they were 2 year old mixes they had forgotten about and did not initially authorize their use in this release) The un-mixed cd is almost the same with a few "updated" versions of tracks from the original release as well as a couple older tracks thrown in. The only track worth noting that's not already on the original is Chase & Status "Duppy Man."

While not unbearable, it does come off feeling very contrived, like a quick cash grab based off of Pendulum's popularity. If you really want to sample the Breakbeat Kaos sound of the mid 00s, then the Stadium Drum and Bass Compilation is a better alternative.

This is one of the best albums i have heard, i can listen to it all day and all night continuously... by far one of the best jungle albums created. Yet i have heard better, the likes of DJ Hype on Jungle Massive and Bass Breaks & Beats 2003. They were excentric, DJ Hype is one of the best drum and bass DJ's out there, but pendulum do create totally original music so buy this album, its worth a listen =]

No! Don't buy into the Jungle Sound craze!

This most recent entry from the infamous Jungle Sound series is perhaps the worst of the bunch. Pendulum are behind the decks (or maybe the pc moniter...), and several MCs lend their... erm... talent at seemingly random points throughout. Honestly, the entire album feels like a brainwashing exercise, as the MCs quite frequently remind you that 'Breakbeat Kaos is the best damn label'. Talk about narcissism. The only reedeming quality about this album is the second disc, which features mostly half-baked works by the like of DJ Fresh and company. 8Ball, by Adam F does make an appearence, but it still makes the price tag a very difficult pill to swallow. As a matter of fact, you'd probably be better of not swallowing the pill at all, unless you're in the market for some very expensive coasters.
