If someone could upload better quality pics of the foldout poster, it would be much appreciated. If you do it in portions, like a booklet, then maybe it will be legible. Can't believe there's no scans anywhere on the net. I wanna see what it says.

There's something about this one that when spinning, continuously screams out "absolute classic". The scope of the compilation expresses the critical notion that not only "true" hardcore music and it's sibling, "genuine" punk music manages to do at it's best, that the rejection of the status quo can result in harshly original music. There's something here for everyone, ironic as it may be.

Side 1 is "hardcore's greatest hits," so it's great, but you've probably heard it all before. But in 1981, this stuff was brand new and largely unheard.

In fact the whole purpose of "Jellybeans" was to expose Europe to North America's finest. See, when the Dead Kennedys toured Europe the first time, they were surprised that nobody knew about Black Flag,Circle Jerks, D.O.A. and the rest and so something must be done!

Side two is the "experimental side" and is hit or miss with a lot of people. Largely "miss" with me, but once in a while I feel the need to hear Geza X or BPeople.
