In 1987, this was a great collection of classic disco. Very few record companies at the time were re-releasing dance tracks from this era (it had been less than 10 years after the disco era crashed and burned). Sadly however, most of the songs on the CD version of this release are even more severely shortened from the already edited down double LP vinyl versions.

Today, most of these songs are presented in their full length, 12" glory in full digital versions on numerous collections. Disco aficionados would be advised to seek them out on other remastered collections.
