Four obscure Italo disco, funk and electronic tracks reissued on Italo Deviance, directly from Marcello Giordani’s 7” collection to this Halloween-themed 12". "Zombie" and "In The Land Of Zombi" are two killer dub-disco tracks released in the south of Italy in 1979. "Zombie" lurches with a sleazy electro-funk vibe and twisted vocal growl, while "In The Land Of Zombi" has that Eurodisco vibe, complete with Kraftwerkian "Robots" style vocoder vocals. "Why O" is a 100% Italian Afro-tropical disco track produced by the maestro Paolo Ormi. Enigma were from Germany, but released on the super disco Italian label Out (who also put out records by Love Robot, Who's Who, Martin Circus and more). 1979 track "Cave Man" sounds like a space soundtrack with arpeggios and simple, catchy chorus.
