Like many here, i'm a sucker for all Crow Castle Cuts and related label/series Blind Jacks Journey's wonderfully poetic and hand-made, animal-stamped 'micro-universes' various artists releases (are there other related series btw? A little tricky to follow sometimes).
Actually the overall level is so high that i suspect some midly big names could be contributing unreleased gems to the series under various, discreet aliases, for the simple pleasure of being part of a high quality secretive project.
Anyway, from all the output i own and have been checking from both series, Luv Jam's "4%Hedgehog" might be my favorite single tune. It summarizes CCC and BJJ's approach perfectly, blending elements of slightly dubby deep house, dreamy and melodic synthpop, lush ambient and even a slight italo arpeggiator echoing wink ; the whole thing enshrouded with a halo of mystery and magic that's absolutely palpable on the dancefloor. Let's hope these series keep on the magic trick for a long time, they are a blessing.

Superb production. All tracks can be played from here to ... Eternity. Plumage included...

The cat number comes from the year 1277 when the Earl of Lincoln, Henry de Lacy, besieged Castell Dinas Bran. Each of the cat numbers from Crow Castle Cuts donates an historic date in the castle's history.

So many grooves cut in so little vinyl… sides clocking in around 20 mins, so the levels/hiss situation is a shortcoming. That being said, as the below comment notes, this is stellar music, all the way across. A precious item.

What a beauty "Place of love" is by Good guy Mikesh & Filburt, I can't get enough of this. If your after something deep and beautiful grab this even for the one track.....Sublime 5/5
