I find it funny that here in the UK when this came out there were loads of copies readily available , far more than ever sold. And now it seems to be rare as hens teeth, cheapest on here being sold for £25?, I wish I had bought more copies now, could've been majorly quids in!

When I saw the announcement of this reissue I got my hopes up. Perhaps it was the first of a series [Now 4 was the only one of the first seven volumes to previously get a CD release]. However I was sorely disappointed when I discovered that the two of the tracks [Limahl's Only For Love and Malcolm McLaren's Double Dutch] are different to the versions on the original Now That's What I Call Music vinyl release. It's obvious that no effort was made to go back to the original master tape. If you want to re-create the first Now album then I suggest buying a used NM vinyl copy and ripping your own.
