I have no idea about the movie, I've never watched it, but the number of familiar names here interested me.

Aside from the major big-hitters (Ladytron, Felix Da Housecat, Vitalic, Scissor Sisters, Miss Kittin & The Hacker) there's quite a few very decent "unknown" acts with very commendable material.

The tracks by Mannequin, Waldorf & Happy Thought Hall are very melodic Electroclash tunes, very indicative of that short-lived sound.

Kinda like early 80's Hi-NRG fed through a post millennium Indie / Art Rock base. All posing, all too cool for school, very trashy but very much fun.

Electroclash = Hedonism.

There's also some nice inclusions from 80's acts such as ABC with the bombastic How To Be A Millionaire as well as the wonderful Stacey Q with her main hit Two Of Hearts, which really fits in with the aesthetic of Electroclash even though the music is much more kitsch.

Mention has to be made for the eternally catchy Kiss Me from Stephen Duffy too. Irresistible!

As I said at the start, I haven't even got a clue what the movie's about (I'm guessing young raver who got wasted), but this soundtrack is pretty cool.
