Pika Pika Panic is a project exploring remix culture and audiovisual mayhem...
A series of 3 workshops were held in April 2012 at Signal Art Space, each over a Friday night, Saturday and Sunday block. This series of workshops involved eleven fabulous young Signal artists who worked with seven audiovisual artists in Melbourne.
Each workshop respoknded to a piece of work by one of three experimental AV artists from Osaka, Japan.
The first workshop used sound to respond to animation, the second created video work in response to audio, and the last focused on animation in response to audio.
It was fun, spontaneous and energetic.
