It is a weird record but in the end one of the most exciting electronic music compilations that year and the blueprint for many DIY electronic experiments which departed from the idm harmony side of life. That year V/VM were ahead of their time. Funny thing is that I actually was not planning to buy the record. But the guy at Ambient Soho, London, only wanted to sell his private copy of Jega's "Card Hore" 12" that had just arrived from Skam, if I buy the promo copy of this compilation as well. It was a very good deal, indeed!
