Phasers on full damn you're right! Dated, useless in modern sets, at times even cheesey- but who on earth could care when it's so much fun. Bunch of "throw your hands up in the air!", occasional gushes of burning acid, siren synth hooks, machine gun fire breakbeats, screams, Chuck D's (Public Enemy's lead MC for you ignoramuses) timeless "somebody in the house say YEAH!", uplifting hoover sequences and what not. Basically, if you're over forty years of age, and are in the mood for a release which will remind you of an ideal saturday night out around two decades ago, or you're you're a youngster (hand high up in the air) plain interested in the history of electronic music, then you need to hear this. Along with some compilations from the GoBang! imprint, "Reactivate Volume #2 - Phasers On Full" has some of the finest, in your face, feel good music from the hey day of the rave era.
If tunes such as Frank De Wulf's The Tape, Techno Grooves' Techno Slam, Outlander's The Vamp, Sub System's Subhouse and a vast majority of the other tracks don't make you want to get up from that sofa and rock the floor, then few things will, unless we're talking about a full blown nuclear attack.

Bottom line is: if you have a soft spot for european like old school rave music, there is no excuse for not having this. Top of the line party stuff, which, despite the fact it sounds everything but suitable for contemporary dance floor demands, will bring many smiles to those old enought to remember these tunes, or better yet, those old enough who still remember they were exposed to these sounds, if you follow. Anyways, for those who can get a kick out of this, I give it a maximum amount of votes out of a maximum amount of votes available(?). Those looking for something to let loose during the next Ableton DJ set, forget about it (duh!), unless you want these Fruity Loops, champagne sipping alleged ravers to get a heart attack, while giving the rest of us guilty conscience because we've just lost cancer cure.
