This is the second compilation that Eye Q have produced this year (having previously released the Harthouse collection ‘Point of No Return’) and in every way is just as dramatic and pioneering as the first. These five interludes of delicate audio architecture include mood enhancement soundtracks from Frankfurt by Oliver Lieb of Spicelab, Dominic Woosey of Neutron 900 and veteran producers Helmut Zerlett, Nicole and Gottfried Tollmann. The latter trio offering the peculiarly named ‘Desert Bean,’ an entrancing hegira into moments of languid lucidity. The most evocative yet enigmatic track is ‘Inner Peace,’ a visionary ambience characterised by liquid sequencing and laidback guitar sounds. Composed by Ralf Hildenbeutel (producer of Sven Vath’s outstanding ‘Accident in Paradise’) it courts a fine balance between calm reflection and shimmering, power; weaves threads of isolatory acoustics with astute sensations, varied emotions and measured silence. When ambient sound has proven itself to be the audio liberator of our generation, ‘Silk’ alludes to foreign lands, mystical places and future discoveries set to catalyse music beyond electronic listening into a tool for mood enhancement. ‘Recycle or Die’ prove themselves to be musical metabolists with alchemical insight. Contemplative and joyful, ‘Silk’ possesses timelessly entrancing woven emissions of sound. Wrap it around your head.

This compilation is a burner for chillout music fans that like the sound of eye-q. All tracks are produced in very big eye-q quality sound. To me `ocean of infinity´and ´dimension x´are the hits on this compilation followed by ´passion and hope´.

I am not 100 % shure, but this is the only record of the recycle ore die experiement. all others are on cd.

This record fits perfect to the album from sven väth ´accident in paradise´.
