difficult release to reference, I had to sift through this labels releases via year to locate it, blink and you would miss it so i doubt whether anyone is gonna find this page but here goes
I like all 3 tracks on this,
Starshine is a nice downbeat track 105 bpm nice bassline and some nice spacey ambient moments near the end,
Rhythm climber is also a nice tune although to me this sounds more like a house track than prog trance, maybe because of the distinctive baseline and the male vocals!
The real standout though is "Sexy Sadie" Starecase remix, typical of starecase at that time, the track begins with a very moody sounding broken beat and ambient soundscapes that build up a very solemn almost melancholy atmosphere, a little way in and you hear a very cool vocal sample taken from the movie 12 monkeys -
"i know things that you don't know, this is a place for crazy people"
the whole track has a very moody dark atmosphere, it conjures up images of mental asylums and sanitariums, images from "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" maybe, anyway, the moody breakbeat drops out at 3.39 and the 4/4 kick drums enter at a surprising fast 141 bpm(the whole track is the same tempo but the breaks at the beginning are deceiving) there are some cool 303's and the arrangement of this track is very cool, finally at the end it reverts back to that moody broken beat and you hear that 12 monkeys vocal sample again which ends the track beautifully, if you like old school starecase tracks like "first floor deadlock" then you will love this!!
