This LP has the same artwork logo as Photek's own label 3rd EYE records (System X) but has been released on a one off Species label for some reason ?
https://www.discogs.com/label/22882-3rd-Eye-Records

And shares the same title as one of those 3rd EYE releases
https://www.discogs.com/System-X-Something-Of-Intelligent-Existence/master/304952

The compilation features four main producers Dillinja Lemon D and Origination- (Rob Solomon & Rupert Parkes) System X - Rupert Parkes

The released tracks on this are

A1.Dillinja - You Don't Know (released on Logic Productions) 1994
https://www.discogs.com/Dillinja-You-Dont-Know-Warrior/release/159705

A2. Dillinja - Twisted Mood (came out on MoWax under name of 'In The Mood) 1996
https://www.discogs.com/Peshay-Dillinja-Headz-2-Sampler/release/20011

B1. D.Note - Manhattan Melody (is really Lemon D - Back 2 Chicago on Conqueror Records) 1995
https://www.discogs.com/Lemon-D-Vol-II-EP/release/176627

C3- Origination Heavy Vibes (came out on a Desert Storm compilation) 1996
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Innovative-Intelligent-Drum-Bass-Volume-One/release/750881

I Would love a repress without the four tracks that were released elsewhere, then you could have a 2 x 12" Vinyl with two tracks max each side instead of three.

System X - "Rollin Deep" sounds like a remix of "Say it", at least same vocal sample.

The sound quality isn't so great on this LP, but I searched long and hard for a copy of it, it has some beautiful Jungle in its grooves. Tracks like Buss This Feeling, In The Mood (Golden era Lemon D & Dilla) and Heavy Vibes by Origination (Photek & Congo Natty? I can't remember!)... I love this LP, its a treasure! Some of the artists don't seem to appear on any other releases.

Lemon D's Back 2 Chicago is a longer version by about 2 minutes than the one on Conqueror.

The pressing is actually surprisingly loud for so many tracks per side. You can always just record it, up the levels and EQ to taste anyway. Wicked album with top tunes all the way through.

I have this and of course 3 tracks on one side is always going to kill the loudness of the tunes but to be honest I have had far worse than this... wack your gains up adjust your EQ's and off you go some tracks don't suffer as much as others IMHO, while its not ideal its probably as good as its going to get... Some really nice tracks that's for sure!
