The tracks which mostly fascinated me were the tracks of Mindfuck such as "Power Luser" or "The Mindfuck". These are really indefineable! Power Luser can be compared with a spin-drier and "The Mindfuck" with a disturbing wave on a radio channel.

This series never followed the "easy Gabber compilation rule" like those notorious Arcade/ID & T compilations. Look at the tracklist: a lot of German underground Hardcore acts with music way far from the popular Dutch Hardcore style of the time. A lot of tracks are actually a Hardcore Techno, or Hardcore Trance crossover. There's even a Drum n Bass track. The tracks by Neuwerk sound almost like Goa Trance (actually, this group produced this style with the same alias!)

Sound quality all through is poor, but then again this wasn't your regular 1996 Hardcore. No wonder there's no DJ Paul here ;)
