Notes

This CD is the first ever fully comprehensive (and digitally remastered) investigation into the paranormal phenomenon of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena), an unexplained mystery related to ufology, life after death and poltergeist activity.

The listener is guided through a collection of strange and mysterious voices that have appeared without explanation onto the tapes of EVP researchers. Included with the CD is a 24 page booklet containing essays regarding EVP by MSCHarding, Jürgen Heinzerling, Johannes Hagel & Margot Tschapke, Joe Banks (“Rorschach Audio”) and Raymond Cass.

The audio has been copies from cassette tapes, some of which were recorded over 35 years ago, and so may be of an inferior quality compared to standard compact disc releases.

The tracks are divided into several sections:

Tracks 3-10: Polyglot Voices - recordings using unusual sentence structures, two or more languages, and/or shifting pitch of voice.

Tracks 11-21: PSB Interrupt - recordings that interrupt the Public Service Broadcasts, for example the Aircraft bandwidth.

Tracks 22-29: Singing Voices - using the same structure as Polyglot Voices except communications are sung.

Tracks 30-42: Instant Response Voices - recordings of one or more individuals establishing contact with EVP voices.

Tracks 43-73: Alien Voices - recordings of EVP that seem to indicate possible extraterrestrial origin.

Tracks 74-75: New Research - a selection of more recent EVP recordings used by researchers.

Tracks 76-78: Archive - tracks 77 & 78 are a complete copy of the 7" vinyl recording which appeared with the book 'Breakthrough' by Dr. Konstantine Raudive.

Absolutely fascinating! Although as a rationalist i have my doubts indeed that these are voices from beyond (and some of the last tracks from a couple of physicists from CERN posit that maybe the true source is within our subconsciousness, as a form of animism), this is a spellbinding and compulsive listen and excellently put together as usual by Ash international [RIP].
