referencing The Smithsonian Collection Of Classic Country Music, 8xLP, Comp, Bla + Box, R 025 P8 15640
This collection was issued with a very detailed 12"x12", 56-page book that gives an overview of the music's history in all its phases as well as liner notes and background info on every song. I believe the book was included in all format versions of the box; it came with my 8-track set. As this is a fairly inexpensive set used, I urge buyers to hold out for a copy that does include the book.
