No mix versions printed for any of the tracks. Tracks 1-01, 1-02 and 1-09 are shorter edits of the original 12" versions, apparently edited specifically for this release.
Track 1-02 is an edit of the original version and the scratch mix by Ben Liebrand. Ben Liebrand did not make this edit. This version therefore is neither the Scratch mix nor the original version.

Printed track duration differ from actual durations for most of the tracks, for up to 17 seconds (track 2-12)

At least some tracks are vinyl rips, not digital masters.

An excellent introduction to the world of Italo-disco, this compilation is superior to most of the later offerings by both ZYX (up to and including the most recent "I Love ZYX" series) and Blanco y Negro (the "I Love Disco Diamonds" series). The reason is the sound quality: unlike those later compilations, this release doesn't limit the dynamic range (google "Loudness Wars") so much. In fact, if you don't use ReplayGain, this release will sound much more quiet than most of Italo CDs released after 1999. The sound is a lot more "open" and natural, though, much closer to the originals on vinyl.

The only beef I have with this release is that no mix titles are printed for any of the track - I had to do my own research here - and not all of them are full-length 12" originals as the printed tracklist might lead you to believe. Tracks 1-01, 1-02 and 1-09 seem to be shorter edits of the corresponding 12" mixes, edits apparently done by ZYX just for this release to fit more tracks per CD; tracks 1-12 and 2-12 are the previously released radio edits (well, I'm not sure 100% that 2-12 is not yet another custom ZYX edit).

That said, this is a must-have collection thanks to the track selection and sound quality.
