I bought this in the 80s haha, I was a little child breakdancer with a Duran Duran fashion style, and I would literaly walk around with a lil' stash of records under my arm ( Kraftwerk's "Computerworld", Egyptian Lover-"On The Nile", and this "Tommy Boy s Greatest Hits"). Great way to get the early 80s New York Electro Hip hop scene in one swoop, included are massive hits like Planet Rock. The 'wildstyle' style was a type of philosophy that has affected me , and it really exists in the music. Looking back now it makes me realize just how fun and powerful this scene was. My favorite track is the bonus '3D Tommy Boy megamix' , which I still throw in the mix when ever I can. A great comp from a very influential label.
