Classic drum and bass. I don't have much more to say then what was allready said.
Great atmospheric music, at its best when mixed. It lade the blueprint for the later dark/tech d'n'b.

The whole album is absolutely flawless. Beautifully crafted, razor sharp production, every tune is light-years ahead of its time.
Sector 3 though, come on, this tune is straight up malicious. Spaced out, minimal... and brutal. Those sonar robotic horns, seriously, absolutely evil. This is drum & bass

The birth of a new genre Tech-Step would of been written out of jungle/drum bass history had not been for Ed Rush and Doc Scott etc who created the sound and added a distinct European sound or rather assault on the Drum Bass industry Tech-Step had more in common with Belgium Techno than any other form because of its brutal samples from Frank De Wolf T99 Anasthasia etc this music was created under the influence of skunk a different mind blowing effect than Ecstasy this compilation from no u turn represents Tech-Step to the core. The beats our brutal the samples darker than the 1993 Rave period. This no u turn release is the only one your find that represents tech step to the core i heard Ed Rush wanted to hurt people with his beats he has acheived this on this album sure there is another comp called Techsteppin but this holds up better a Master Piece.
