Notes

Tracks A1, A2: 16 track recordings from the River Roses second ten-song demo cassette.
Tracks A3, A4: Home four-track recordings from the Deadbolts debut demo cassette.
Track A5: Recorded as a one-shot eight-track recording back in early '86.
Tracks A6 to A8: Recorded at home on on Al's four-track.
Track A9: From a live recording made after their European tour but before they resolved their identity crisis.
Track A10: As-of-yet unreleased 16-track studio cut.
Track A11: Outtake from the Barefoot Rock With Rainer And Das Combo lp sessions.
Track B1: Unreleased eight-track recording from early '87.
Track B2: 16-tracker from the summer of '86.
Tracks B3, B4: Cut in a quick one-night eight-track recording session late in the spring of '87.
Tracks B5, B6: Taken from Jeff Colt's early '87 studio demo tape. Both are eight-track recordings, although recorded at different studios.
Tracks B7, B8: The two songs here will be appearing on the Overcoat's debut album on Dionysus (it hadn't been released at press time).
Tracks B9, B10: These two songs were taken from their last live tune-up before their successful European tour in the spring of '87. The recording is a poor "off-the-board" mix, but the performance shines thru.
Track B11: Taken from their first 16-track demo released in the spring of '87.
Tracks B12, B13: 16-track recordings made early in '87. They appear on Thai Pink's second, and last, demo done before A&M started footing the bill.
