Notes

The truth is quite contrary to Rudyard Kipling's prophecy that "East is East... West is West and never the twain shall meet." In this case, the twain, Channel 4, and "Unforgettable," have managed a 1982 summit, which might even be described as "A Close Encounter of the Musical Kind." It's a completely Western project I hasten to add, because the very new Channel 4 finds accommodation for the not so new but quite "Unforgettable" songs of the 50's, 60's and 70's that somehow came into our lives at one stage, and definitely refused to be evicted!

The music on this album is pure and simple "Nostalgia" of those years, re-recorded for T.V. in the atmosphere of the 80's that's forever present in the lively night club scene at "Cinatra's in London." I think you will need little reminding of performers who tool the charts by storm in that golden period... Could you ever forget "Gerry and Pacemakers... Mungo Jerry... Susan Maughan... Freddie and the Dreamers... The Troggs... P.J. Proby... Nashville Teens... Vanity Fare... and the Fortunes among many?
They are all here... They are part of our life - They've become "UNFORGETTABLE."

fluff!
