One of the few places to find The Calling (Remix) by Goldie.

On my copy I got a version of "Krust - Maintain" that is not the original one. It's neither the Dave Angel remix. It's a long 2 minutes vocal intro (Morgan?) with a pad, then same with a beat, then a drop, then a non-vocal dark beat till the end. Probably between 7 and 9 minutes the whole track.
Could someone tell me what version it is?

Probably the ultimate DnB/Jungle album for me .. Hard to nail down 1 or 2 coz others come to mind straight after. Much easier to name ones I'm not fond of (Blaze dis one, calling & maintain), not yo say they're not great tracks, just not as much my cup of tea. Aside from the obvious ones, only a dream is the standout tune here, received a lot of play from Randall at the time. A chilled out, but rolling, jazzy number that is Roni at his finest. The breakdown with the vocal sample 'my love is music' gives me goosebumps when I hear it (a cheesy and predictable comment but true!), I love the high pitched hiss on the vocal samples which can not only be heard but seen in the grooves on the vinyl, it's these kinds of imperfections that don't make it through these days that give Jungle it's character and warmth

For me this is some of the finest work on V recordings. Stand out pieces for me are Dillinja's - Unexplored terrain and Goldie's remix of the classic The Calling, which are both awesome! As is Die & Suv's - War & Peace, and the happy bouncy vibes of Scorpio's - Li Li. And thats without mentioning the massive but not my favourite, It's Jazzy by Roni Size! lol
Ahh, who am I kidding its all bloody good really, an excellent album full of flavour and variation... that was 97 for you though. No lover of Jungle or DnB should be without this album!

Massively collectable album mainly due to the inclusion of Roni Size & DJ Die's "It's Jazzy" and Scorpio's "Li Li" - The former ("Li Li") is not available on vinyl anywhere else, and is one of the best examples of Jump Up Jungle you are ever going to hear (Plus a dream to mix with).
Anyone into any kind of Jungle or Drum and Bass needs to own this.
