This one was a real surprise on RSD 2016! I ordered it as my "hope it's worth it" item and it truly is much better than expected. The presentation is very cool, there is a download included and the book is a fantastic addon to the release.

The book resides in a very (!) sturdy cardboard-layered "frame" of the same size as the cover, size of the book is quite like a scifi-no brainer of the usual suspects. Print/binding quality is somewhat cheapo, but the photos and texts totally add to the style and feel intended here.

The music is something I don' want to argue about - it's a matter of personal taste. All tracks are more or less on funky or bluesy side of rock. This is not (!) a collection of yet unknown Bad Brains dinosaurs. Far from it. Pressing is good and sonic quality is "mixed, but mostly amazingly good".

If you are "guitar music" oriented and open for some compositions/voices that you most likely have not heard before - give it a try. Keep in mind the circumstances under which those productions were pulled off.

If "rock" is something that (in your head) only qualifies if it is produced in a modern studio, using fancy production technique, Buckethead playing the guitar solos and top of the line gear - aviod it. It's not a corporate rock-crowd-pleaser. It's just some crazy guys trying to pull it off as good as it gets.
Cool release.
