The comp that confirmed Pitchfork is dumb and can't be trusted. listened to it a bunch on Apple Music and still had to pick up the LP 2 years later. My only criticism is of F. J. McMahon's place on here... love him but there is nothing "cosmic American" about The Spirit Of The Golden Juice, NG probably just wanted an excuse to throw in a vaguely similar cult classic from the same era. Seems a little lazy. Otherwise, great comp.
