This is definitely v.snares' best work outside of his usual hardcore dark & extreme breakcore framework. It's an absolutely phenomenal exploration of lighter fare with a real funk/ jazz edge, but still full of the dense breakneck breakbeats he's best known for.

I guess this is Aaron Funk's "Go Plastic" - one for the ravers. Unlike the darker, more personal stuff ("Winter In The Belly Of A Snake") this is just outstanding technically. 7/8 jungle, Coronation Street samples and 'that' Burro Banton vocal make this Snares's best work to date.

This is one of the most funny albums Aaron Funk has made in his career.
Funny songs like Herbie goes ballistic Ghetto body buddy and Einstein-Rosenbridge are really outstandig.
A number like Hand Throw is also one to remembe.
the hardcore beat dominating the whole song and especially the end of the song.
TCWA is also one big parody on the 60´s with shows like abomination street and movies such as the herbie movies .

4)star album.

Got quite bored of this quite quickly. I think you probably only need one Venetian Snares album. Making orange things is my favorite, it's quite a lot harder than this. This album doesn't have the capacity to make me feel physically sick like making orange things does...

Saw him live recently too and he was just playing cds which was pretty fucking weak, though pretty nasty as you'd expect.

It seems like he's perfected what he does. Funk's taken all of his sporadic energy and mashed it togeather with high style on 'Chocolate Wheelchair'. Einstein-Rosen Bridge is a definate highlight. Could be his best record yet.
