DOWN UNDER ROCK sung by an aussie dude with a bullfrog in his throat blurting out amorous lyrics over the top of a bottom heavy rhythm section and razor-edged guitar that bleeds urgency and kicks up more than it's fair share of blood and guts. If the vocals were a lot more dynamic and a lot less monotonous this would really be something.

Unlike younger bands starting to make noise today (I guess these blokes have been around for quite some time, and this is their first release in six years with new singer Nick Palmer) Venom P. Stinger create the 'tension and release' with a heavy sound and primal dirge. They sound like they'd be a great live act. Two guys from Dirty Three are in this band (Jim White on drums and Mick Turner on guitar) showing another side of the their dangerous selves.
