they have this screwed up, the blue vinyl was authorized and should be OK to sell. The black vinyl is a bootleg (whereas the blue is a fake bootleg). Should be reversed as to what is allowed to be sold.

the black vinyl release is actually listed as unauthorized, blue is not, and they have them wrong.

lol, fix this discogs

Hello, Discogs...this is NOT an unofficial release. It was 100% band/ label sanctioned.

A friend of mine had this record and with his came a sheet of paper promoting the then new label Vernon Yard. Wouldn't this have favored somewhat in the records authenticity of release? I don't know if the entire press came with these or any more details.

Artwork info on voyager 1. Just found out today that the artwork was done by Brian Cannon the founder of mircrodot also produced loads of the early verve oasis and more artwork. From the green posters in lucky man check out his site if a fan it's a must see for fans.

One of the few mythical records that few people have ever heard in person that truly deserves its mythical status, and makes you wonder why Nick McCabe isn't mentioned in the same breath as Hendrix or Kevin Shields. Brilliantly, overpoweringly beautiful beyond words, and my only regret is that I never saw them live during this period. Just found a black vinyl copy to go with my blue copy, and now must endure the agonizing wait for it to get to my turntable.

South Pacific is NOT unique to this release. It was released on the compilation CD "Volume Seven".
