In the mid-90s, Lightning thought it a great idea to create tons of sublabels for "different" styles. Out of the blue came labels such as Zounds for clubby trance, Future Shock for harder trance, Bonzai Trance Progressive for not-too-hard-and-not-particularly-clubby trance on the progressive tip, Axma for not-quite-so-clubby-nor-hard-yet-hard-enough trance and so on. How the 1996 record buyer could make their way through those in a reliable way is a bit of a mystery -- though the fact most of those labels are defunct seems to suggest said record buyer could not actually navigate through them in a reliable fashion.
On to the music.
This release is all one would expect from a 1996 trance record, melodies bordering on cheese (on the right side of it, thanks to the melancholy), drum rolls, exaggerated reverb and all, but it remains bearable. The nostalgia value makes it difficult to part with too (Perspectives was a little hit in the summer of 1996 at Belgian club Montini), not to mention no one is likely to buy it anyway.
