The title cut of this 12" might be the maker's most no-nonsense cut to date. Warehouse laced beats and frenetic break downs, with shrilling outbursts tossing you back to the days of a mid nineties Surgeon having a nerve wreck. Stomps right through your neighborhood, city, or project housing with bulldozer beats and intense mechanical rust to serve a dance floor proper. It's the back to basics rawness that makes beef jerky strips from the skin on your neck. It's loud, it's pumping, it's nasty, it's techno to tear the roof off. You need it.

"With Someone Else" boasts Voiski's almost trade mark production touch, and that is to opt for the funkier 808 beats rather than the shredding 909s. The loosely fractured rhythms and the vocal bits give it a hazy feel, all the more emphasized by a stuttering bass line. The production vaults are still as pure as unadulterated maple syrup. Probably my pick of the bunch.

The last cut is a treat as well, combining arpeggiated incisors with thicks acidic stabs and lush pads giving the track a unique, if not spiritual feel. The juxtaposition of more moderate melodic passages and heavy hiting broken beats is what really makes it work wonders. It has this really great vibe that would come in handy during the after hours. The harmonic beats would keep your head in some kind of a sweet autistic limbo, while the kracking drums would keep your restless feet firmly attached to the filthy dance floor.

Way less polished that let's say his releases for L.I.E.S., Go Play Your Games, sees the frenchman inject more muscle into his awesome productions. Rest assured, the choice is well paid off. These tunes slam in hard, but are in no way brainless loops. If you're out for some fresh, staggering club devstators anno 2016, do give it a spin or dozen.

Artist's main project continues to resist narrow definition past quality techno. Much more aggressive & nastier than other Voiski material, particularly the 'Go Play Your Games', but still produced with clarity & impact. Outstanding release.

A bit good this one. Proving it's not just about whacking a kick drum, some grisly sound effects and interference together. Big system brain damager, not for the easily perturbed.
