My copy is almost identical except it doesn't have the black "SWITCHED-ON BACH" title at the bottom, only the German title in white letters at the top.

Even though release year was 1971, on the back cover you can read "℗ 1969"

Pure gold. All tracks are entirely imprinted on my memory, note by note.

I just bought a copy of this album but the runout doesn't match any existing listings.

Got a beautiful copy of this. Still in shrink with hype stickers, and vinyl looked unplayed. Great sounding pressing! It's super interesting to read about the creation of this record. I'm not big in to classical music, but something about Wendy's performance on the moog is super whimsical and makes for great background music.

The first record jacket for Carlos's "Switched-On Bach" featured what has been called the "constipated Bach jacket." That's because the character who is impersonating Bach looks as though he is straining at stool! Later issues of the jacket show "Bach" standing up and looking quite imperious!

Why are there no separate listings for the Santa Maria, Terre Haute, and Pitman pressings (Columbia's three pressing plants)?
