Wanda, oh Wanda... you were one of the best bands to come out of Austria back then. Fall 2015 was a magical time for me and now I look back to it with a sense of melancholy and bittersweet feelings. This LP was the soundtrack for this short period of time before so many things changed in drastic ways in my life. It's a collection of 12 songs stuffed with bitter cynicism, tobacco-stained hints at romance and love, a celebration of life in the torn-down parts of a torn-down town that's full of life at the same time. And if I should find myself back in this wonderful period of time during which this album was released, I'll be singing all those ditties with pride and sadness all the same with a bottle of wine in one hand and a smoke in the other one.

And now, what's left of you? The third album, Niente, is nowhere near as strong as the first two, rather it sounds like a contractual obligation in parts. Please, Wanda, return to the style you, and only you, mastered like nobody else back then. In the meanwhile, everyone reading this should listen to 'Bussi' over and over again. Just because it's so good. Really.
