Beside the sample of "I Want You" from GARY LOW, WASHED OUT for sure also used a sample from "I´m Not In Love" - performed by 10 CC.

Once again ITALO DISCO was sampled. In this way i´ve never heard it before. From the "happy feeling" original tune in 1983 by Gary Low - to a dark melancholic tune, which could make you depressive. This give me once more the evidence, that ITALO DISCO melodies are very well arranged and fits in any situation and speed. When it´s credited and the Micioni Bros. earn for the sample > 3 stars for the idea behind this! BTW, the "AAAAHHHH" chorus through the song... is sampled from 10CC - "I´m not in love".

Ignore the review above me. This song just works on so many levels. The album is great and this is the icing on the cake. Doesn't hurt that it's the title song for Portlandia.

If you are optimistic, "Feel It All Around" is supposed to be the ultimate 'chillwave' anthem and one of the untouchable hipsters hymns of its era, capturing the 'chill-down/recession' zeitgeist, bringing a suspended moment like when the sunrays caress your beloved's hair while in a haze of natural weed blah blah blah...
Well with a little less optimism (ie. in my case) you just have a quite lazy moment of slo-mo, ethereal indiepop, mumbling voice over a looped and slowed down sampled bassline ad nauseum ( -another one ripped from Gary Low's "I Want You"- ) and while I can understand the charm of it, still it's hard for me to rave further about it ...in my book, agreeable but nothing more.
