An overlooked gem in Waylon's catalog. With Lee Hazlewood at the controls, Waylon pounded out a powerful collection of concise country gold with little hints of rock and roll. The real spotlight here is Waylon's guitar playing. He's mixed right up front, where his signature licks can take center stage. Stand out tracks include No Regrets, She Comes Running and Waylon's take on the Stones' Honky Tonk Woman, complete with reworded lyrics. A fantastic album.
