There's a little rule in library and soundtrack music, and it's pretty simple. It's this - If Alessandroni composed it, it must be amazing! This LP is no exception. I'm not the biggest country and western fan, but you can't help but appreciate the excellent compositions by the legendary composer on this LP. Track after track of interesting western music that would fit perfectly in any vintage western film. Make no mistake about it, this is an Alessandroni LP, from the same person who composed some of the most beautiful melodies and exotic harmonies in the world. The same classic, wistful sound can be found here, as is with all his music. The only difference is that the tracks on this LP are western-themed, instead of his usual Italian lounge sound. If modern country music sounded half as good as this, I would consider listening to it.

So again, this LP pretty much confirms my suspicions. If Alessandroni made it, it WILL be good!

Highly recommended for fans of westerns, as well as anyone looking for something a little different in their library music. 5 out of 5!
