This Australasian version has "EMI UDEN" displayed in the matrix. There also exists another Australasian version that has "D.A.T.A." displayed in the matrix. Both versions have the "Digital Audio Technologies Australia" logo printed on the disc.

"Your Woman" contains a replayed sample of "My Woman" performed by Lew Stone & The Monseigneur Band (1932-33) and a trumpet riff performed by Nat Gonella, both uncredited.

Recorded on analogue 8-track.

This CD should be coming out a couple of months after the 6th anniversary of my first release... Anyone still out there? I got the title for this single from the weekend I mixed the tracks. My hard drive went bonkers and I spent 72 reformatting the dang thing. :-( How many times did I see the words
>Abort, Retry, Fail?_
Well, this cheerful message became a kind of shibboleth for me and sort-of characterises what's been going on for me the last few years. Special thanks to Ele, *still* the most beautifullest girl in the world...;-)
Love and kisses,
Jyoti

I remember how "Your Woman" went slowly to the top of the charts, giving a taste of fame to Jyioti Mishra who produced it in his bedroom with analog equipment. A model for all artists with no significant budget. The track still sounds fresh today with that famous sample (some thought at first it was taken from John William's score for "Star Wars") and that electro touch.
To the listening of this excellent single, I remembered how I disliked the "Women In Technology" album, which contained very few interesting tracks. It was probably compiled with a lot of pressure coming from Chrysalis to give a follow-up to "Your Woman". It never really happened. "Your Woman" was ultimately remixed for the clubs by the Fitch Bros, but another version by Eurodance act One Nation Feat. Victory was preferred by the crowds.
To me, the logical sequel stands on this single. "Give Me Some Pain" is a very nice downtempo song. "Theme For A Mid-Afternoon Game Show" is a very funny track. The title says it all: you will laugh for sure. The other one "Theme For A Late-Night Documentry About The Dangers Of Drug Abuse" (!) is also very demonstrative, with a kind of "danger" feel attached to it.
