Notes

Gatefold cover with 22 page black and white booklet.

The first issues were printed by Euro-Albums Holland B.V. and have a soft, almost pastel grey finish whereas later issues look ‘blacker’.

On the spine of the outer cover, the first issues have the group name, album name, ‘Track Deluxe Double’ and set number, which is 2657 013.

Very first pressings have a "Delta" on each matrix of the four sides. Subsequent pressings have usually 2 "Slashes" on one (or two) of the matrix of the four sides.

First Issue Early Pressings have predominantly ‘1’ & ‘2’ matrices and ‘1’ or low number stampers in the vinyl run off area of each side. E.g. record 1 side A: 2406110 A ∇ 1.

When I was a child, I came across a Quadrophenia album, and I can remember such album included after "Love, Reign O'er Me" one or two additional songs that had nothing to do with The Who. I'd like to know which songs were these and which releases have them. Anybody knows?

Yet to my surprise the only track not included in this album " My Generation " which features heavily in the film ...

Sorta like The Killing Fields without John Lennons Imagine ,,,not
included on the Soundtrack

For me this is by far the most powerful piece of music ever created and Pete Townshend will hold a special place in my heart forever for giving us this gift. Watching the Quadrophenia tour in 2013 was probably the most emotional night of my life

Could someone recommend which CD of Quadrophenia has the best sound quality/mastering? There are so many different versions of it, I have no idea which to buy!
Thanks.
