Does this version have the same Chris Bellman info in the runouts or is this different.

Nice reissue! Sound quality is spectacular, nice upgrade from my 1995 cd, this remaster is more spacious and detailed. The packaging is solid and the vinyl itself is 180 gram, flat and sounds great!

This is album sounds fantastic and has great packaging. In addition to higher quality plastic sleeves it also includes the cardboard sleeves with art work, track listings and an essay.

Anyone else think Jeff Tweedy slept with a The Band lp every night?

Lovely pressing, as it is usually the case with VMP, and great album. Lots of greats memories from the time I moved to Chicago.

I disagree with american_futbol, pressing quality is just excellent, as can be expected by a Pallas pressing. Nice flat record and beautiful packaging. The remaster just has a kind of brightness over it, which can definitely be heard but to my opinion gives this record for this band at this specific turning point in their career a kind of freshness.

This is the bands first offering and as far as I’m concerned, it’s their best effort. All of the songs are extremely playable, mixing rock, country, blue eyed soul and R&B.

It’s not uncommon for a bands first outing to be so great, after all they spent so much time perfecting these songs, playing them over and over, building a following, and then nailing each song because they know them so well. I just wish they’d done the same with the following albums. Don’t get me wrong, there are some great songs on each and every album, but not as here, a consistent body of work.

"Shouldn’t Be Ashamed" could be anyone’s banner song. It says so much with a simple chord and a raunchy voice, in only three and a half minutes. "Passenger Side" simply cracked me up, pure lyrical lamentations regarding the loss of a stoner’s driving license. And who hasn't caught the driver swerving from side to side with their eyes closed? "That’s Not The Issue" is finger picking, head bopping at it’s very best. Dig this one with an attitude and vibe.

This release from Wilco was as a refreshing piece of work as it was discovering Cracker for the first time. It's impossible not to love this record, the lyrics, the spirit or the light handed atmosphere the band create.

*** The Fun Facts: As to the band's name, it referenced the CB radio voice procedure for "Will Comply", a choice which lead singer and guitarist Jeff Tweedy has called "fairly ironic for a rock band to name themselves."

This is the one being sold on the Nonesuch website currently. It's not great. Generally just a lot of audible buzz with the vocals and drums. Not a good pressing overall. Nonesuch is usually pretty good but this one was disappointing for sure. Great album though

Worth bearing in mind this double vinyl edition lets the tracks breathe more than the original single vinyl version did, with the final three songs of the album now on side 3. This might irritate the purist, but the bottom line is the album sounds great throughout. As a bonus, the packaging has nice spot UV effects on the pictures inside and on the cover.
