Wire 154 is to all intent & purposes the future of music & still sounds cutting edge 40 years later no mean feat. Punk energy with an almost wilful experimental edge but still in tight arrangements. Just unbelievable a true masterpiece.

"Early copies include bonus 7" (PSR 444) with four (at that time) untitled tracks." Should this be four unreleased tracks? The copy of the 7" we have has the titles on the rear?

Often classed as a punk or new wave album, this is both of those but much, much more. While some thrash punk elements from Pink Flag are retained in 2 People in a Room, the rest is post-punk at its finest. "Map Ref 41N 93W" is a classic pop song, catchy and quirky, while "I Should Have Known Better" is one of the finest bitter love songs ever written, with superbly poignant and very pointed lyrics sung with true emotion evident. This album is one of the true classics and influenced thousands of subsequent pieces of music. Timeless and breathtaking.
