I was unsure about the release on ARS Records with the B Side running at 9:17 even though it is listed as 7:11. This one is known as The Latin Rascals Instrumental. I checked the running time of original release on Beauty & The Beat and found the B Side has two tracks running at 3:06 & 6:11. Combine these two tracks and you have it; The Latin Rascals Instrumental – you know you wanna slice.

ANOTHER UPDATE: AS OF 12.08.10, I CORRESPONDED WITH 5 SELLERS OF THE SUPPOSED BAB.100 , WHICH SHOULD INCLUDE RUN-DMC SAMPLES; ABSOLUTELY ALL 5 WERE VAGUE ABOUT RUNOUT GROOVE STATUS, LET ALONE WHETHER RUN-DMC SAMPLES APPEARED ON SINGLE. ONLY 1 WAS CLOSE TO HAVING ORIGINAL. DEMAND SOME FORM OF GUARANTEE WHEN DEALING OVERSEAS!!!

THE ORIGINAL IS RARE!!!

The "classic" release from this label is the one that in the eyes of others, measures similar records from this genre and era. I think this record strikes the proper chord in setting the tone for subsequent BATB releases yet fails to capture the top spot claimed by "Hard to the Body." Still, this is a great record and it is awesome to check out the '80s gear touted by DJ Cheese and colleagues. That tight shirt is choking me to death! A definite trip down Memory Lane. This seventy five word minimum on these reviews is killing me but, hey, there are worst things in the world. I just recently finished gathering excellent versions of all of the BATB releases and will unload to any interested members.
