g-force is also a not to underestimate track on this classic release - the wurly sound even gets an optic upgrade the needl running inside-out. (Liza N Eliaz sadly just offerd a sad copy on bonzai records)

Sonic Destroyer had to be named as a huge Milestone in Techno History.
After all these Years still a fresh sounding Floor Weapon !

As well as having various etchings as described above, bizarrely, side B of this record plays from the centre of the disk outwards.

Sonic Destroyer at the time of it release was a huge hit for UR and one of the EP's that really put them on the map. Around the time of the relase not too mention the companion (timewise) Punisher ep; the floodwaters were really opening for the harder more agressive Detroit techno sound with its stabs buzzing and the space freakout bass sounds, but it's the sneaker G-Force that is really the killer. Overlooked, underplayed and completely ahead of its time.
Comes complete with RIAA test curves for bass response and treble response for the dj who wants to mess with heads just a little more.

sonic destroyer is the #1 sci-fi techno tune if you ask me! real over the top futuristic bleeps and synths that make me laugh everytime i hear it. it's really charming. a must have, and definitely a classic!
