Notes

This edition has labels with only 1990 copyright dates. The titles on the labels match the titles on the sleeve. A very similar edition has the same sleeve, but the labels have both 1990 and 1991 copyright dates, and the titles on the labels refer to "Move Your Body (Elevation)". Yet another edition has a slightly different sleeve and no barcode on the labels.

Recorded at Synchronized Studios, London (Optimism Records).

"I've said it before and I'll say it again, dance whilst the record spins...!" Classic Old Skool anthem from 1990, still as fresh today as it was back then. A dancefloor filler to be sure, this track always hits the mark. With it's recognised signture chrous "Move Your Body, higher, higher, hi-hi-higher!", people can sign along as well as dance. Everytime I play this, people explode with excitement.

Best played at +3% or +4% pitch to achieve a faster, higher pitch song, the Club Mix is the best of the rest. Total class...

This is the original release of the track that became better known when the title was changed to "Move Your Body".

A massive club/rave anthem in the UK that had a top 40 placing on two sepeate occasions.

What an amazing track! Sweet synthesizers ambient pads and one of the first "high pitched" samples i'd heard. They sampled "Theme from S-express," or Rose Royce's "Is it Love you're after" (the original sample that S'Express used.) I first heard this when a DJ played this at one of Seattle's earliest "acid house parties." This track stuck out from all the rest that night. This track has been sampled from, as well, a few times.
