Listening to this record today with headphones and the bass turn up, it suddenly dawned upon me that this record must have been a major influence on Drexicya, Mad Mike, Juan Atkins and co. during the beginning of the Detroit Electro years. Listen to Dehydration off The Quest and you'll see what I mean.

As the reviewer below mentions, "Firecracker" was also heavely sampled on Jennifer Lopez's 2001 single I'm Real.

Inspirational song for all!

this is another one of those records that completely blows me away. its brilliant. despite the fact that miss j.lo sampled it, and some house record on peppermint jam samples it, this record is hot and will remain a true classic!
