It's a little bit strange that the 'Serena "X"' single got a strictly promo release under the name 'Panic In Detroit' on the same year of 1992. This promo release got a different track from the 'Serena "X"' twelve inch - it has 'Prototype - Biotic' instead of 'Yennek - Emperical Reality (Fake Piano Mix)' (present on the B-Side of the other release.

The 'Panic In Detroit' promo release came out on the same year (1992) of the homonym compilation released on Buzz that had the original version of 'Serena "X"' and 'The Path' by Prototype. It was unofficially re-released in 2004 without authorization since Buzz records closed down many years ago.

Dan Curtin's tune 'Biotic' as Prototype has bleep influences and a more tense environment than the beautiful emotional tunes of the opposite side, 'Serena "X"' (by Kenny Larkin) and " The Path" (by Dan as well).
