I recently got this disc, but it's a better version, I think. It has the hype sticker, but the labels and the matrix etchings are different. I gave it a spin last night, and it sounded good to my ears. Perhaps they repressed it due to the quality issues with the first round but didn't take the earlier pressings off the market.

I will be selling this edition for wine change or throwing it in the dumpster. Please save yourself $15.00 and do not buy this remastered edition; it is every bit as bad as some report. Terribly muddy mids, rolled off highs, and an indistinct presentation likely to be bested by any MP3. The "mastering" is not credited to any specific individual (so there is no one to write hate mail to) but whomever did the honors could not have possibly used the tapes or even a hi-res digital copy of the tapes. Don't be fooled by the Rhino hype sticker/endorsement on the shrink. Though Rhino is more-often-than-not associated with solid remasterings/repressings, this is a stink bomb that plays like a cheap cassette copy recorded with Dolby A.

Get an old UK plumb label, a CD, or roll the dice with the new Friday Music Joe Reagoso 2x45 effort and wear a trench in the rug between your seat and the deck. Too bad that there isn't a solid repress/remastering of this record on 1 piece of vinyl.

I'm off to play one-shot frisbee.

I bought an Atlantic 180 g issue with this category number a few days ago, but it hasn't got any reference to Rhino Records, and doesn't sound as if being remastered at all. Is the same issue then?
