Superb sound design that leaves room for musicality rather than being only about process. Should be a difficult record to buy at this point.

One of the dopest record in 2018. Latency killed it once again! And so do Yves!

Definitely my favorite full-length by Yves. Except for track #1 (I can't get into it, it could be my aversion to any vocals though..) this *double* LP is perfect and easily the best (electronic ) record of the year. I'm not in to describing tracks but I do recommend listening to this alone, with the lights out and eyes closed. Only focus on the sounds and nothing else...actively listen...he had to put a lot of work into this as there is alot going on and an insane amount of interesting sounds, tickles your ears to hear them :). It's good to hear electronic records that don't have a constant kick drum the entire time as well...unless you plan on dancing the entire time, it can get a tad old after a while. Not to say that this doesn't have nice rhythms, it does but not typical stuff. I had to give this a 5 star rating and it still feels like that's not enough. Lots of people releasing electronic music theses day but I can probably count on one hand those that are doing something interesting and new, Yves De Mey is one of them. Excellent record, worth every dime spent on it.
